Terri Austin represents the 60,000 residents of House District 36 in Madison and Hamilton County. Terri has over twenty years of experience in education and has served as a classroom teacher, district administrator and consultant for the U.S. Department of Education. She currently is an assistant professor in the School of Education at Anderson University, where she has taught since 2003.
Terri and her husband, Mike, are the parents of two sons. Jeff, a senior at Anderson University and Matthew, a junior at the University of Indianapolis. Mike is an attorney in the firm of Hulse, Lacey, Hardacre, Austin and Shine in Anderson, Indiana.
Terri is an active community volunteer and is member of the Anderson Fine Arts Center Board of Trustees, Rotary Club, American Association of University Women, and the League of Women Voters. She is also a member of the Anderson Area Chamber of Commerce, the Elwood Chamber of Commerce and the Alexandria Chamber of Commerce.
Terri attends Park Place Church of God.
